PS Waverley

The Paddle Steamer Waverley provides cruises around the lochs and Isles of Scotland from April to October, and is a regular visitor to Blairmore Pier.

During July and August the Waverley visits Blairmore Pier each Wednesday afternoon and embarks on a short cruise up Loch Long.

Tickets can be bought in advance locally, on–line or can be bought on-board. For anyone wishing to advance book a cruise on the Waverley please call 0845 130 4647. There are cruises from Blairmore, and from Dunoon to Blairmore, Rothesay, Tighnabruaich, the Lochs and Carrick Castle, Brodick, Holy Isle and Pladda, Largs and Millport, during the summer months.

Ticket prices range from £6.95 to £28.95.

Benmore Botanic Gardens

Benmore Botanic gardens is located on the A815 and is about 3 miles from Blairmore, and set within beautiful mountainous scenery and is home to a myriad of flowering trees and shrubs. A regular bus service makes the return journey between Blairmore Pier and Benmore Gardens.
