Terms and Conditions of BookingIn making a booking clients are accepting the Terms and Conditions listed below. 1. PAYMENTA 20% deposit is required on booking and the remaining balance must be paid 6 weeks before arrival date. Clients will receive notification 6 weeks prior to the date when full payment is due (or earlier if applicable). Balances not paid on time will result in the booking being cancelled automatically with the full deposit being retained. 2. CANCELLATIONIn the event of client cancellation the following charges will apply:-
In the event that the owner is required to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will have the choice of a full refund or a transfer to another booking where this is achievable and mutually acceptable. 3. CARING FOR THE PROPERTYNo security deposit is taken and guests are entrusted to care for the property in a reasonable manner. However, where significant damage, breakages or losses have occurred these will be raised with the guest and a payment may be due to meet the cost. 4. CHECKING IN & OUTCheck in on day of arrival will normally be available from 2.00pm and guests will be asked to estimate their time of arrival nearer the time. Check out on day of departure is 10.00am. Where requested, and only if possible, this can be extended by arrangement. 5. TRAVEL INSURANCEAll clients are recommended to have comprehensive travel insurance and insurance cover for personal possessions. 6. PETSPets are generally prohibited from the property. However, one dog may be accepted under exceptional circumstances, which must be highlighted at the time of booking. The owners would seek assurance that the dog would not be left unattended, remain off the furniture, and have it’s own bed to sleep in. In most cases a surcharge of £25 will apply to cover additional cleaning costs. 7. SMOKINGFor the comfort and safety of all guests the cottage is designated as a NO SMOKING environment. If smoking outside, guests are asked to dispose of cigarette ends in a considerate manner.
